Clarification to May 3rd Free Lance Star Article

Regarding the May 3 article “Need is great at Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank and other local pantries," in the Free Lance Star, The Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank would like to clarify that we have and will continue to provide food to all of our community partners.

Elizabeth Gilkey, Communications Manager for the food bank states, “While need is great, due to the generosity of the community and hard work of our staff and volunteers, at no time have we run out of food for our network of partner agency pantries. We remain committed to our mission of feeding the hungry through a community-wide network of partner agencies and engaging our community in the fight to end hunger.”
