What is the Pantry Program?
The Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank distributes millions of pounds of food to the hungry and working poor through our partner agency food pantries. The Pantry Distribution Program provides food assistance to the hungry of Planning District 16, the counties of Stafford, Spotsylvania, Caroline, King George and the City of Fredericksburg, as well as neighboring communities. The Food Bank is a resource for our partner faith-based and member non-profit organizations to obtain the food they need to help keep food resources readily available for distribution to the hungry.
What is a TEFAP Commodity Pantry?
The Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank serves as a distribution point for government commodities that are made available
on a monthly basis to income-eligible individuals through 14 certified TEFAP pantries throughout our communities.
Rules for acceptance and participation in the program are the same for everyone without regard to race, color, national
origin, age, sex, or handicap. USDA is an equal opportunity provider and employer.
