NALC Stamp Out Hunger Donor Drive
In light of the increase in food insecurity brought about by the pandemic-related economic shutdown, the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) has developed a new plan to address the problem of hunger that affects many in our community. Starting June 15, generous donors who would normally leave food by their mailbox on the second Saturday in May for letter carriers to collect can now donate online so that food banks, like the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank, can use those funds to purchase food for those facing hunger in our community.

28th Annual NALC Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive has been postponed until further notice.
The 28th Annual National Association of Letter Carriers Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive is coming up, and we are asking everyone in our community to take part in the nationwide, one-day event. It's simple to participate - all you need to do is fill a plastic bag with non-perishable items and leave it at your mailbox the morning of TBD, for your letter carrier to pick up. The letter carriers bring the food back to their post office where FRFB staff and volunteers are stationed to help unload the food and place in on a food bank truck to bring back to our warehouse.
