For more updates on the Legal Food Frenzy Competition visit:
Sponsored by the Young Lawyers Division of The Virginia Bar Association and the Federation of Virginia Food Banks, Legal Food Frenzy is a friendly competition within the legal community to see who can collect the most food and funds to help hungry families. To date, the Legal Food Frenzy has raised the equivalent of more than 15.6 million pounds of food. All winners will be invited to a special award ceremony hosted by the Attorney General of Virginia.
The National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) will host its 28th annual food drive, Stamp Out Hunger, later this year.
Everyone throughout our community is encouraged to leave a donation of non-perishable food next to their mailbox. As letter carriers deliver mail they will collect these food donations and bring them back to your local post office where food bank staff and volunteers will be on hand to help unload their mail trucks and bring the food back to our warehouse.
In addition to donating food, friends and neighbors can donate funds to help us "Stamp Out Hunger"
