Our Vision: Creating a Hunger Free Community

Our Mission: To aid member agencies in satisfying the needs of the hungry in the surrounding communities; the counties of Stafford, Spotsylvania, Caroline, King George, and the city of Fredericksburg.

The Fredericksburg Area Food Bank is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, created in 1982.

More than 80 area churches and other non-profit organizations have joined us to fight hunger in our region.

In 2008, the food bank collected and distributed over 3 million pounds of food and other grocery products, the equivalent of 2.75 million meals.

5,000 people were provided with food each month.
