How To Help

Donate Funds - For every dollar that you give, we can distribute eight dollars in services. A $50 tax-deductible donation provides 250 meals. No gift is too small. To make an online donation now, click here.

Volunteer - The Fredericksburg Area Food Bank depends on the work of hundreds of volunteers to help feed approximately 20,000 people every year. There are many different ways to volunteer. You can help with activities such as tutoring kids at your local Kids Cafe site, repackaging donated food for use at food pantries, or picking up food from food drives. Learn more --

Start a Food Drive – Organize a food drive at your office, your church, your school, with your enthusiast’s club, or your community group. We will pick up the food when you have reached your collection goals. We always need non-perishable foods, especially high protein foods like peanut butter and canned beef stew.

Donate Food - Individuals and organizations can make donations of food and non-food grocery products to the Fredericksburg Area Food Bank. You may drop off donations at our warehouse, Mon - Fri 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. If you are unable to drop off your donation, please contact us to arrange pick up.
